Thread: Ferret

We were just made the proud parents of a really interesting little character whose previous owner named him Waffle. He is a male ferret and I have never had such a neat pet.

He is very playful, but he tends to sleep a great deal. Can anyone tell me the typical number of hours per day a ferret will usually sleep?

Nice to know that you have a ferret. I always wanted to have one, but here is kind expansive and my parents don't like this kind of pets.

Acording to Wikipedia:

Ferrets are crepuscular, which means they spend 14–18 hours a day asleep and are most active around the hours of dawn and dusk.

So, I think you have a sleepy pet.

Howdy Horusbrasil, that information fits the sleep pattern of this little critter perfectly. He is definately a sleepy little guy.

I don't think I have ever had a pet that was so much fun.
